Florida Testing & Engineering of Daytona, Inc. has been a leader in providing Construction materials testing, Geotechnical to land development and real estate professionals, commercial and residential builders as well as civil engineers, architects, insurance companies, home and business owners. FTD can combine all our departments to assist our clients with all forms of testing / inspection services from environmental assessments to geotechnical investigations to materials testing. We have teamed with A2L Technologies, Inc. to offer the finest Environmental Services to assist you before the purchase of a site to assure you are not buying someone else's contaminated land. Our Geotechnical Department can then provide the soil condition analysis for engineering design and suitability for construction. Once the first two departments have completed their work, our plan review department can review your plans to assure they meet all local and state codes. Finally our "construction materials / quality control" (CMT) department. This department will provide the quality (soil, concrete, asphalt inspection services, etc.) assurance during construction. This year we partnered with International Engineering Services Design Group, Inc. a full service, 12-member structural engineering firm offering professional consulting services in the design of new structures and the renovation and restoration of existing structures.

With over 20 years of experience and quality service on Central Florida's west coast, IESDG has now expanded their service market to include Volusia, Flagler, St. Johns and Duvall counties.

Since our inception, our engineers, certified drillers, engineering technicians and administrative personnel has continued to grow. With our central location in DeLand, FTD has now expanded throughout Central and Northeast Florida. Our service areas encompass Jacksonville to Palm Bay and west to Pasco County.

Our success is a direct response to quality of service, timely service, and integrity we offer. All our technicians are certified for their individual areas of expertise or under going training to achieve that level. A Brief History

When Murray A. Oeth Jr. founded our firm in 1993 after a number of years with Florida Testing & Engineering, he promised to carry on the tradition he learned from Mr. James Winterholler. Mr. Winterholler was the founder of Florida Testing & Engineering, Inc. in 1959 and one of the original Geotechnical Engineers in Florida.

He demanded that we strive to provide the highest attainable level of engineering service for all clients no matter the size.

Since opening the firm in 1993, we have kept that promise. Florida Testing & Engineering of Daytona, Inc. are still family owned and operated on those principals. We remain committed to the principals that Mr. Winterholler instilled and dedicated to "Integrity before Profit".
